This project explores the process of settling into a new space and transforming it into a «home» through personal experience. The central image is ceramic electrical outlets, which were common in our country during my ancestors' time. They become a symbol of domestic electrification and, at the same time, a metaphor for family continuity. Photographs from the family archive are transformed into a kind of portal connecting the present with the past, the new resident with his roots. The project draws a parallel between the ancient act of lighting a hearth and the modern connection to the power grid—a gesture that brings a house to life and integrates it into the common energy system of humanity. Even in a new building abroad, I feel a connection to my family and find a sense of home in it.
